* Recent research has shown that the usage of inflammitory rumors will effectively (negatively) impact public perception on a point. Refudiation of the rumors with fact leads those with strong, emotional beliefs further into their emotionally founded (even if mislead) belief structure. So some of the net impacts of negative false rumoring are to further polarize the people and possibly create the negative effect desired by the perps.

The editor of a pro-life news service says a draft copy of the proposed Democratic Party platform that will be approved later this month in Denver continues the party’s historic pro-abortion stance and mirrors Barack Obama’s extreme support for abortion.
The proposed Democratic Party platform announces unequivocal support for Roe v. Wade and direct taxpayer funding of abortions. Steven Ertelt, editor of LifeNews.com, obtained the draft platform from a pro-life group that is urging the Democratic Party to moderate its stance on abortion.

Ertelt says the platform draft also expresses support for the so-called “Freedom of Choice Act” — a bill Senator Obama promised Planned Parenthood last summer would be the first piece of legislation he signs as president. According to Ertelt, the measure would overturn all of the pro-life laws nationwide.

“In other words, that piece of legislation would overturn any laws that any state legislature has passed — for example, prohibiting taxpayer funding of abortion, allowing parents a right to know when their teenage daughters are considering having an abortion, a right to know or informed consent, or any other common-sense limits like partial-abortion bans that we’ve put on the books. That would overturn all of those laws,” he states bluntly.

Ertelt considers Obama the most pro-abortion presidential candidate since Roe v. Wade, noting the Illinois senator opposed a bill in the Illinois Legislature that would have protected babies who survived botched abortions. Obama says he opposed that bill because it did not contain language protecting Roe v. Wade, as the federal bill did. However, according to Ertelt, new documents show Obama opposed the bill even though it contained the same language as the federal bill.

Obama received more than $24,000 in campaign contributions over a period of two months last fall from three Palestinian brothers from the “Edwan” family in Rafah, Gaza, which is a Hamas stronghold along the border with Egypt. Attorney and conservative commentator Debbie Schlussel notes foreign nationals are barred from making contributions in connection with any election — federal, state, or local — and an individual is allowed to give only $2,300 per election to a federal candidate or the candidate’s campaign committee.

“The donations are basically through and through illegal — that’s number one. And number two is how the Obama campaign tried to conceal it,” Schlussel chides. “They listed the campaign contributions as coming from Rafah, Georgia. They used the ‘GA’ from Gaza so it makes it look like it’s legal; and then for the zip code it says ‘972,’ which is actually the area code to dial over to Gaza,” she contends.

The attorney comments that if the Obama campaign is willing to “accept thousands of dollars beyond the legal limit and they’re also going to flout [Federal Election Commission] restrictions…that’s very indicative of what kind of president [Obama] is going to be.”

“They’re not going to be worried about the details and they won’t mind if they break the law to get to the final result that they want,” adds Schlussel. She believes it is a “major news story when a presidential candidate receives money from ‘a bastion of Islamic terrorism.’ And Schlussel argues that the media is “bending over backwards to help Barack Obama and cover up any negative news about him.”

Schlussel says Pamela Geller will likely file a Federal Election Commission complaint against the Obama campaign for violating restrictions and limits on campaign contributions.

Dear Mr. Obama,

My name is Stephanie. I am currently a registered voter for the upcoming election and a young, impressionable, American mind. I have watched you and Mrs. Clinton present your speeches and have seen how you handle yourselves under pressure. I have given hard thought to which candidate I would want running as the Democratic candidate for my country and have come to my conclusion. But before I get to that Mr. Obama, I would like to express something that had been rolling around in my head since I first discovered it was true.

Mr. Obama, you were born and raised in this country. You were raised with solid beliefs and good morals. You speak English; the language of America and you obviously had some good standing to become a man in such a high position in the government. But quite frankly Mr. Obama, I find you to be an absolute disgrace to this nation, and to humanity as a whole.

It is to my knowledge that you openly and freely admitted to not only not wanting to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, but also that you believed it to be Un American. Think about that statement. You said that the Pledge of Allegiance is UN AMERICAN. Let me explain something to you because you quite clearly haven’t the faintest idea what you are doing. The Pledge of Allegiance is the very definition of being American. Why is this? I will tell you Obama. If you actually listen to the words of the Pledge, you would realize that it is a way of swearing your LOYALTY to this country. You know, the one that you are trying to get elected to RUN? If you think that swearing your loyalty to the country you eventually want to be in charge of one day then you, sir, are just plain ignorant. How can you be expected to be taken seriously for the prestigious HONOR of being the president when you can’t even swear to be loyal to the country? It is hypocritical and a slap in the face to every loyal and true American citizen.

I hear your voice on the radio and I see your face on the television and I want to vomit. You preach about how the country needs change and that you stand for hope and all the “good” things you want to do for the country, but then you turn around and you don’t face the flag nor do you put your hand over your heart when the National Anthem is played. THE NATIONAL ATHEM Obama. As a person running for PRESIDENT you should be the FIRST person to be standing with their hand on their chest whenever it is played. Instead, you turn you BACK on the flag and look around at the clouds in the sky or at something shiny that passes by. Do you realize that by doing that you are, in all reality, turning your back on the COUNTRY and the AMERICAN CITIZENS and basically telling them to screw off, you have better things to do. You are basically openly shunning everything that this country stands for and I would be willing to bet that if, God forbid, you do get swept into office that your first official action would be to get rid of both the Pledge and the Star Spangled Banner.

This, if nothing else, is why I am not, nor would I ever, cast a vote for you. To do so, would be un-American and disgraceful. I sincerely hope that American realizes what a fraud and a hypocrite you are and gives you the boot before you can cause any more embarrassment to this country and everything we stand for.

I will tell you this much Obama, if you do get elected, I’m moving to Canada.
